Plant Ecology and Evolution

Plant Ecology and Evolution is an international peer-reviewed journal devoted to ecology, phylogenetics and systematics of all ‘plant’ groups in the traditional sense (including algae, cyanobacteria, fungi, myxomycetes), also covering related fields (full scope available here). Submissions concerning tropical and sub­tropical Africa are particularly welcome. The journal is published by Meise Botanic Garden and the Royal Botanical Society of Belgium and its Impact Factor is 1.119 (Journal Citation Reports, June 2020 release). From 1st January 2019 all articles are published in Open Access under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), without any charges to authors.
