Royal Botanical Society of Belgium

Society has organized different kinds of activities in the past, such as excursions and the Young Botanists' Days. Since 2012, the society organises the Annual Meeting on Plant Ecology and Evolution (AMPEE), a one-day scientific meeting to highlight research in the area covered by the journal. Founded in 1862, the Royal Botanical Society of Belgium is a bilingual organization (French and Dutch). The society promotes botany through scientific research, publications and conferences. The Society publishes Plant Ecology and Evolution and awards several prizes for botanical research.
