Monkeypox Virus

pixabay com monkeypox 7252142 1920 983x999 20Monkeypox Virus in abbreviation "MPXV" is a zoonotic enveloped dsDNA virus that belongs to the orthopoxvirus genus of the Poxviridae family. There are two clades of the Monkeypox virus, the West African clade, and the Congo Basin clade. The West African clade is associated with a milder clinical presentation while the Congo Basin clade is more pathogenic and associated with greater human-to-human transmission.

Institute for Laboratory Animal Research

The "Institute for Laboratory Animal Research" known as ILAR is a "United States" organization. ILAR develops and shares a lot of information and especially important guidelines about animal testing and care of laboratory animals.

One of the main missions of ILAR is to evaluate and to report on the scientific, technological, and ethical use of laboratory animals and related biological resources, and of non-animal alternatives in non-food settings, such as research, testing, education, and production of pharmaceuticals.
ILAR seeks also to identify practices that provide for excellence in the welfare of animals used for these purposes, recognizing their moral value while achieving high-quality scientific data.
In August 2020, ILARD has published a booklet on Biodiversity available for the Public.

World Health Organization

The "World Health Organization" is an International Organisation (known as "WHO") and was established in 1948. This Organisation is a specialized agency of the "United Nations" and responsible for international world public health.
The WHO headquartered is established in Geneva, Switzerland.
