 The European Society of Surgical Oncology known as "ESSO", was created in 1981.

ESSO's vision is certainly to represent the most established "cancer treatment". To this aim, ESSO has developed standards of care for patients with cancer through its "core values", as well as its activities like in quality healthcare, in the field of education, ultimately qualification, and much more.
